This 1 overlooked vitamin can help you remember names, faces, phone numbers…

Vitamin K1 is a nutrient which we mainly obtain from green leafy vegetables.

We do not need much, as the body recycles it well, but we do need to get some green leafy vegetables in our diet to obtain vitamin K1.

Many people do not eat any greens at all – and there are a number of treatments which can cause wasting of vitamin K1.

Gut bacteria convert vitamin K1 to vitamin K2.

This nutrient has profound effects on our health too – protecting the testicles and the cardiovascular system for a start.

Aging researchers found that people who got more vitamin K1 in their diet had better mental function and were more able to look after themselves in their later years.

The human research was carried out at the University of Angers in France. The paper was published in the journal Nutrients.

The French researchers were curious about the effect of vitamin K1 on brain-related aging factors.

“Our objective was to determine whether dietary vitamin K1 intake was associated with cognition and behavior among older adults.”

They analyzed data from almost 200 people.

These people were split into different groups according to how much vitamin K1 they consumed as part of their diet.

“192 participants over 65 years were separated into two groups according to the tertiles of dietary vitamin K1 intake (i.e., lowest third below 207 µg/day versus the other two thirds combined).”

The levels of K1 were assessed according to food questionnaires.

“Daily dietary vitamin K1 intake was estimated from a 50 item interviewer administered food frequency questionnaire.”

Then the participants were put through 2 batteries of tests.

Test 1 was the MMSE which looks at indicators of cognitive function – looking for signs of mental decline.

“Cognition was assessed with Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE); behavior with Frontotemporal Behavioral Rating Scale.”

The second test looked for signs and symptoms of frontotemporal dementia.

The researchers were careful to account for a whole host of other factors which can affect brain health.

“Age, gender, social problems, education, BMI, comorbidities, history of stroke, use of vitamin K antagonists, TSH, vitamin B12, albumin, and estimated glomerular filtration rate were used as confounders.”

The researchers found that people who consumed more vitamin K1 had better cognitive function.

The general brain performance was significantly better.

(Higher scores are better on the MMSE.)

“Compared to participants in the lowest third of dietary vitamin K1 intake (, those with higher intake had higher mean MMSE scores.”

They found similar benefits in relation to the test for frontotemporal dementia.

Though, in this case, a lower score is better.

“In the same comparison those with higher vitamin K1 intake had lower Frontotemporal Behavioral Rating Scale score.”

People who consume more vitamin K1 in their later years have better brain health and fewer indicators of frontotemporal dementia.

“In more complex analysis, dietary vitamin K1 intake was positively associated with MMSE score and inversely associated with Frontotemporal Behavioral Rating Scale score.”

People with greater intake of vitamin K1 were particularly less likely to show signs of self physical neglect.

“Specifically, log dietary vitamin K1 intake correlated negatively with Frontotemporal Behavioral Rating Scale subscore of physical neglect.”

Vitamin K1, like its relative vitamin K2, can have profound effects on overall health.

It’s worth getting an ounce or 2 of cooked green leafy vegetables in your diet every day.

“Higher dietary vitamin K1 intake was associated with better cognition and behavior among older adults.”

You should always consult your healthcare practitioner for guidance on medical diagnosis and treatment.

Is your wife or girlfriend suffering from Dead Drive Syndrome?

Dead Drive syndrome is what I call it when women lose their drive and no longer have any interest in sex.

And it’s quite common.

To know if Dead Drive syndrome is affecting the woman in your life, ask yourself these quick questions…

Question 1: Does she say things like “I don’t feel attracted to you anymore”?

Question 2: Does she almost never initiate sex?

Question 3: Does she turn down opportunities for sex most of the time?

Question 4: Does she ever say that sex hurts or is uncomfortable?

Question 5: Does she often say she is not “in the mood”?

If you answered yes to one or more of these questions, the woman in your life is almost certainly suffering from Dead Drive syndrome.

Luckily, I’ve discovered a simple protocol to reverse Dead Drive Syndrome and restore a woman’s drive very quickly — often within a week.

And the way this protocol works is by optimizing a woman’s hormonal make-up.

It ensures a woman has enough of the right “sexy” hormones she needs to feel her libido spike and crave intimacy with a man.

And you can try it with your wife or girlfriend tonight — here’s how
