What the Japanese are doing for high blood pressure

In America, most men with high blood pressure just take a Big Pharma treatment.

And while this lowers the numbers on the cuff, it doesn’t actually fix high blood pressure.

So it lulls men into a false sense of security… they think they’re protected against heart attacks and strokes because they’re taking a treatment from the doc…

But then one day without any warning, a man on blood pressure treatments may fall to the ground clutching his chest in extreme pain…

While his wife, children, or grandchildren watch on in horror…

And that’s why the Japanese are doing things differently when it comes to high blood pressure…

In fact, they are treating blood pressure VERY differently than us here in the West…

Please watch this short video to see what they’re doing — it may save your life

What to do about gout

Matt Cook here, and gout is a common problem, with over 9 million people in the United States dealing with this disease.

It’s an inflammatory condition and can be very painful when it occurs.

Gout is a common form of arthritis that affects one in 40 adults in the UK. It is caused by high levels of uric acid, a chemical produced by breakdown of tissues in the body and present in certain foods and drinks.

But what most people don’t know is that gout is associated with a higher level of heart attacks and strokes.

This isn’t something that doctors talk about much, but it’s something that you should know about.

The reason that researchers believe that patients who have gout also have a higher risk of stroke and cardiovascular events…

…is because both conditions are caused by chronic internal inflammation.

At high levels, uric acid is deposited in and around joints as needle shaped urate crystals. Once released from their deposits, these crystals cause severe inflammation manifesting as joint pain, swelling, redness, and tenderness that often lasts for 1-2 weeks. These episodes, called gout flares, often recur. Inflammation is also a risk factor for heart attack and stroke.

In my opinion, chronic internal inflammation is the big thing that Big Pharma and the medical establishment don’t even think about addressing.

I think it’s so profitable to treat the symptoms of diseases rather than heal people…

….that there just aren’t many research dollars that go into keeping people healthy.

It’s so frustrating, because there are lifestyle interventions that dramatically lower chronic inflammation.

That’s why I do what I do here.

I’ve seen so many health problems turn around when people start treating the cause rather than the symptoms.

What the researchers found was that having a gout flare gave you DOUBLE the likelihood of having a heart attack or stroke in the next 60 days…

…and that your risk is 1.5 times higher for a cardiovascular event between 61 to 120 days after the stroke.

They found that gout patients who suffered a heart attack or stroke were twice as likely to have had a gout flare in the 60 days prior to the event, and one and a half times more likely to have a gout flare in the preceding 61-120 days.

If you have gout flares, the authors of this study are recommending that you watch your lifestyle to keep your cardiovascular system healthy.

“People with gout should be encouraged to adopt a healthy lifestyle with appropriate treatment of conditions such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, obesity and diabetes to minimize their background risk of heart attack and stroke.”

I agree with these researchers, but I would take it a step further.

If you have gout (or most other chronic health conditions), then you should consider working on getting your internal chronic inflammation under control.

The very best thing you can do for your health and wellbeing is to make sure you are taking care of yourself and take charge of your own health.

It really is up to you. No one else is going to do it for you.

Doctors are useful in some circumstances, but they tend to focus on treating the symptoms rather than treating the underlying causes.

It’s not their fault, it’s just how they are trained.
