Loss of Morning Wood May Be a Symptom of THIS Condition

There is not much that can get a man depressed faster than losing his ability to get it up. If you’ve ever experienced this you know EXACTLY what I’m talking about.

Erection problems for most guys are like living like half a man – and not the good half either. It can be frustrating and devastating and can feel like it’s completely out of your control.

But that doesn’t have to be the case. Even if you haven’t had an erection in decades, you can have great sex AND get more sensitivity than you ever have had before (even in your 20s).

But I think the biggest lie right now that is being sold to us by Big Pharma is that taking that “little blue pill” will somehow magically solve all your problems. That’s just a bunch of B.S. and it makes me SO freakin’ mad.

Those blue pills CAN get you better erections, but lots of guys report that they feel less and that it works less well over time. Which really just sucks – and not in a good way.

If you’re having any kind of erection problems make sure you pay attention to what comes next, because there is a connection here that I can 99% guarantee your doc has never told you about.

As it turns out the secret to figuring this out may be morning wood – having an erection when you wake up – because morning wood is a good indicator of how healthy your erections are, and interestingly also of what might be the cause of any erection issues you may be having.

Morning wood is actually the noticeable part of what happens all night during REM sleep. Your body, if healthy, during REM will produce erections on and off through the whole night. When you wake up with morning wood, it’s the end of one of these cycles.

Penile erections have generally been considered to be an epiphenomenon of REM sleep-related physiological changes for healthy males.

So it’s possible that if you aren’t getting morning wood, and you have poor erections in general that is because you may not be getting enough sleep – especially REM sleep.

In my experience, poor sleep quality is directly related not only to poor erections, but also a host of other health issues. Fix your sleep issues, and you can begin to fix a whole bunch of chronic health problems.

Fix your sleep – fix your erections?

According to a large study of sleep apnea and erectile function there is a strong correlation between ED and not sleeping well.

The prevalence of ED is as high as 69% with poorer sexual function in OSA patients compared with control patients matched for comorbidities and age.

Even if you think you’re sleeping super well, it’s worth looking at both your sleeping habits and any medicine you’re taking to help you sleep.

Because many medications interfere with the REM sleep cycle and can interfere with your erections. You may not be sleeping as well as you think you are.

How to get better sleep.

I know this seems counterintuitive, but the 1st thing you need to do is get off the sleeping pills.

(I’m not a doctor, so if your doctor has you on sleeping pills be sure to consult with them 1st)

The problem with sleeping pills is that the sleep quality they produce is not real sleep. It’s more like a trance state.

Also, sleeping pills can become very addictive.

In studies, these types of drugs have been shown to:

LEAD TO A COMPLETE LOSS OF HYPNOTIC ACTIVITY AND SUBSTANTIAL SUPPRESSION OF DELTA AND REM SLEEP.

And REM sleep, as we saw earlier, is exactly the kind of sleep you need to keep good erection function. So, if you are on sleeping pills, they may actually be causing ED!

This is not the kind of connection that your doctor will make. They are trained to mostly treat body systems in isolation and to prescribe and cut.

It’s not their fault, because Big Pharma controls most of the medical training of establishment in the United States. It drives me crazy! But it’s also why I do this work.
