This 1 food can naturally heal a swollen prostate

Estrogen and estrogen receptors play a large role in the development of prostate cancer – a role that is often overlooked.

Estrogen causes inflammation and metabolic problems. Its role in other cancers like breast cancer is now well-known.

The hormonal treatment of prostate cancer has been focused on other hormones – male hormones like testosterone and DHT.

But this type of treatment is largely ineffective, and that has even led to the term “androgen-independent prostate cancer”.

Androgens – meaning male hormones.

In 2014, researchers at the University of Rochester Medical Center published a detailed paper looking at the role of estrogen and estrogen receptors in prostate cancer.

“A growing body of evidence shows that estrogen and estrogen receptors could regulate prostate cancer initiation and progression.”

They concluded that, at least in some cases, high estrogen was necessary for the development of prostate cancer.

“Increasing evidence demonstrates that estrogens are required for prostate development and carcinogenesis.”

High estrogen can lead to lower androgens – causing benign prostate hyperplasia

A problem which can occur before prostate cancer.

“Activated estrogen receptor α could decrease the androgen production, which in turn contributes significantly to the genesis of benign prostatic hyperplasia and prostate dysplasia.”

High estrogen and low androgens are a vicious cycle that increase the risk of developing prostate cancer.

Another factor which influences the levels of estrogen and androgens is an enzyme called aromatase.

Aromatase turns androgens like testosterone into a potent form of estrogen.

High levels of aromatase are a serious problem. There are numerous foods and treatments which can lower aromatase.

One of these is the white button mushroom.

This commonly available food was investigated by cancer researchers at the Beckman Research Institute of the City of Hope, Duarte, USA.

The cell experiments looked at how a number of different foods affected aromatase levels.

If foods lower aromatase they can lead to lower estrogen and higher androgens. This should be a good thing for prostate cancer risk.

The researchers found that white button mushrooms (Agaricus bisporus) are a potent aromatase inhibitor.

Agaricus bisporus suppressed aromatase activity dose dependently.”

Extracts of the mushroom were able to slow cancer growth in breast cancer cells by lowering estrogen.

“Diets high in mushrooms may modulate the aromatase activity and function in chemoprevention in postmenopausal women by reducing the in situ production of estrogen.”

There are also animal experiments which show that these estrogen-lowering mushrooms have an effect on prostate cancer.

The animal experiments were carried out by the same Beckman Research Institute of the City of Hope in California. This paper was published in the journal Nutrition and Cancer.

By now, researchers at the Beckman Research Institute are well clued up to the benefits of mushrooms

“White button mushrooms are a widely consumed food containing phytochemicals beneficial to cancer prevention.”

The research was designed to look at the effect of mushroom extracts on prostate cancer cells and prostate cancer in mice.

“We evaluated the effects of white wooden mushroom extract on prostate cancer cell lines in vitro and mushroom extract in vivo.”

In the cell experiments, mushrooms slow the growth of cancer (proliferation).

The mushrooms also initiated healthy cell death (apoptosis) – cancer cells tend to live too long.

“Mushroom inhibited cell proliferation in a dose-dependent manner and induced apoptosis within 72 h of treatment.”

Next, the researchers implanted human prostate cancer cells into mice.

These two different types of human prostate cancer cells are called DU145 and PC3.

These prostate cancer cells were initially taken from 2 different men.

DU145 and PC3 are types of cancer cells which have been reproduced over and over in the lab for experiments.

White button mushroom extract decreased prostate cancer growth in the mice.

“DU145 and PC3 prostate tumor size and tumor cell proliferation were decreased in nude mice treated with mushroom extract.”

The mushroom treatment also increased apoptosis – the healthy death of cells.

“Tumor cell apoptosis was increased compared to pair-fed controls.”

The research showed that white button mushrooms can be very effective in lowering the risks of prostate cancer in men.

“We saw the anticancer potential of phytochemicals in mushroom extract which supports the recommendation of white button mushroom as a dietary component that may aid in the prevention of prostate cancer in men.”

It seems that one of the reasons why mushrooms can help with prostate cancer is because they lower estrogen.

A number of human studies from Asia have also found a strong link between mushroom consumption and a lower risk of prostate cancer.

Just remember that mushrooms must be well-cooked.

—-Important Message About Prostate Health—-

This is what I’m using to stop aromatase — and gain a higher libido, better prostate health, and better erections with my wife

I’ve been using a new, natural method to stop aromatization and prevent and treat prostate problems at home.

This is a cheap, old remedy most doctors have never been told about in medical school…

…but it does amazing things for men’s prostates when used in this particular way… and it’s certainly helping my prostate and my sex life.

Because not only does this method lower estrogen and prolactin levels, it also acts as an aromatase inhibitor…

…which means it slows the conversion of testosterone into estrogen, so estrogen stops increasing.

And there are other BIG benefits for performance too…

Discover this prostate shrinking machine breakthrough that keeps testosterone HIGH and estrogen LOW and shrink the prostate down to normal size — free today
