You don’t have to take the natural course of aging as something that just “happens.”

There’s no such thing as a pre-designed course of aging – even if it seems like there is.

Here’s the truth.

You do not have to get diabetes at 60 and lose your mind at 70.

And there’s absolutely no reason a man has to lose his sexual function and take Big Pharma’s “erection-fixing” chemicals.

Unfortunately, Big Pharma really wants you to believe this garbage about aging – and the idea that you can’t do anything about it…

Because it gives them an excuse to sell you more things… things for diabetes, cholesterol, high-blood pressure, and erectile dysfunction.

These things make obscene amounts of cash for Big Pharma. So they want you to THINK that most aging is inevitable.

(I’m not telling you to go off any medication…I’m a researcher, not a doctor.)

But a lot of this process of aging – and I mean quite a lot – is much more in your control than you THINK it is.

Now don’t get me wrong…we all get older.

But HOW we live as we get older…and our quality of life…in many ways, these are directly up to us.

And the research is showing that even SMALL steps can make a big difference.

“We need not look at aging as a passive process; we can do something about the course of our aging.”

Memory loss starts here.

One of the scariest things about aging is the fear of dementia and Alzheimer’s.

The idea of not knowing who your kids or spouse are…and not being able to take care of yourself like you’ve done your entire adult life…

That is TERRIFYING.

And it all starts with something called “mild cognitive impairment.”

“Mild cognitive impairment is an intermediate stage between the expected cognitive decline of normal aging and the more serious decline of dementia.”

While it doesn’t often affect the actual day-to-day functioning of most adults, it can be the precursor to scarier conditions.

“Mild cognitive impairment may increase the risk of later progressing to dementia caused by Alzheimer’s disease or other neurological conditions.”

The current reality for many of us is that we now sit on our butts all day long and stare at screens.

That is the nature of work right now, for many men. And this inactivity can cause some serious health conditions.

“Regular physical exercise has long been shown to have heart health benefits, and now we can say exercise also may help improve memory for people with mild cognitive impairment.”


By getting active – even a little bit – we can delay the onset of mental decline.

“Exercising might slow down the rate at which you would progress from mild cognitive impairment to dementia…”

And for some people, exercise can actually reverse the effects of cognitive impairment.

“Some people with mild cognitive impairment never get worse, and a few eventually get better.”

Which means that you can control how soon (if at all) your mental acuity declines – to a great extent.

“So if I’m destined to become cognitively impaired at age 72, I can exercise and push that back to 75 or 78. That’s a big deal.”

What kind of exercise can halt mental decline?

A lot of guys think they have to run marathons or get a gym membership something to get the benefits of exercise.

But that isn’t true.

Just adding some exercise to your daily routine can help a lot.

One of my favorite things to do is to pace while I’m on the phone (I use a headset).

I also love to take walks and hikes with the beautiful Jodi.

Any movement is good – and the more you do the better.

It’s a HUGE mistake to resign yourself to aging as if there is nothing at all you can do about it.

With a little luck and a bunch of action, you can enjoy a great “health span” for as long as you live.
