Do your supplements contain this nasty chemical?

Hey, Matt Cook here, and if you’ve been following my work for a while, you know that the state of our gut is a strong indicator of general well-being.

And in order to be healthier, we must strive for better gut health.

Moreover, in the journey to better health, supplements may be useful accessories.

Maybe a couple of 100 years ago, we didn’t need any supplements…

Nature was providing all that we needed.

However, these days, since our soils are depleted, and we are not getting as much sun as we are supposed to get..

…some supplements, according to your needs of course, can be valuable.

On the other hand…

There is something that is often overlooked.

Silicon Dioxide.

Silicon dioxide is a substance that is used for anti-clamping purposes in the process of making tablets.

Supplement companies use it so that their machines won’t get clogged.

It is essentially powdered glass.

Big Pharma says it’s “benign”, however this study shows that it might be otherwise.

This study was published in Biochemical and Biophysical Research Communications.

The researchers fed various forms of silica nanoparticles to mice that were maintained in a specific pathogen-free area.

The amount that the rats were fed was not in huge amounts as well.

Rather, the amount approximates to what an average person might consume.

“To study the impact of oral intake of SiO2 nanoparticles on intestinal inflammation, we administered mice with differently sized (10 nm [nSP10] or 30 nm [nSP30]) amorphous SiO2 nanoparticles (approximately 3 mg/kg/day, which is comparable to standard human consumption as food additives.”

In my humble opinion, the results were not shocking…

The scientists found that the oral intake of silicon dioxide can cause inflammation in our guts.

“Thus, the oral intake of small SiO2 nanoparticles exacerbates intestinal inflammation, even when the amount consumed is within the common daily intake range.”

They say that, the smaller the silicon nanoparticles are, the more riskier they get.

Which means smaller silica nanoparticles can get through our gut barrier easily.

This study also references that the dangers are not only exclusive to intestinal health..

Silicon dioxide damages our skin as well…

“Multiple publications have suggested that smaller SiO2 nanoparticles are better able to penetrate the skin barrier and induce severe skin inflammation in an atopic dermatitis model”

One other thing that influences our intestinal health is endotoxin exposure and its affinity to activate TLR4 receptors.

Endotoxin is a toxin present inside a bacterial cell that is released when it disintegrates.

When endotoxin leaks from the gut, it sets off the TLR4 alarm system.

The consequences are immune system activation and inflammation.

And we all know that chronic inflammation is not something we want.

This other study which is done on rats found that silicon dioxide also might activate TLR4 receptors.

“The data indicated that silica inhalation might activate the RANKL and TLR4 signaling pathways in lung macrophages, thus inducing the lung inflammatory and proteolytic phenotype of macrophages and osteoclasts in lung and bone.”

Mind you…

This study looks for the influences of silica inhalation..

So, ingesting it orally might be even worse, since that way we are exposed to it in bigger amounts.

At the end of the day, I would say next time you buy a supplement check for the label to see if it contains this dangerous substance.

Such a little adjustment can produce drastic changes in your gut health and general well-being.

This patches up a leaky gut while scrubbing endotoxins from the ENTIRE body (even the penis)

I’ve found a way to fix the gut that gives erections a big boost.

It works by scrubbing the body of endotoxins.

Endotoxins are all the bacteria, viruses, and fungi swimming around in our gut that leaks out into the body when you have a leaky gut.

These endotoxins travel all over and infect other organs, even the penis.

So if you get rid of these endotoxins, the whole body benefits, not just the gut.

And libido and erections are two of the biggest benefactors when you clean out the gut this way…
