This vitamin restores virility and overall health

Today we discover some shocking new advantages of using vitamin C, and learn about a new form of it.

Scientists are still learning more about the benefits of of this vitamin.

It is often claimed that this vitamin can accelerate recovery from disease.

Recently, researchers analyzed the best data on vitamin C and recovery.

That research showed that it can reduce the length of stay in an intensive care unit.

And people given vitamin C spent almost 20% less time on a mechanical ventilator.

These scientists carried out their research at the University of Helsinki in Finland. They published their results in the journal Nutrients.

When vitamin C was discovered, it was quickly shown that it could cure scurvy.

Scurvy used to be a very common disease… It began with gum infections and, if left untreated, could lead to death.

More recently, scientists have discovered that good old C may have many other beneficial effects on health and disease.

“Human trials have found that vitamin C can have beneficial effects on blood pressure, infections, bronchoconstriction, atrial fibrillation, and acute kidney injury.”

These researchers were interested in the benefits of vitamin C on real-world health problems.

They compiled studies looking at the length of stay in the ICU in relation to supplemental vitamin C.

“We aimed to evaluate whether vitamin C has an effect length of stay in the intensive care unit and duration of mechanical ventilation.”

The researchers found 18 high-quality human studies that were relevant to their investigation.

These studies contained information on over 2,000 people.

“We identified 18 relevant controlled trials with a total of 2,004 patients.”

The majority of the studies involved people who were having cardiac surgery.

“13 of the 18 studies investigated patients undergoing elective cardiac surgery.”

And C shortened time spent in the ICU by almost 8%.

“In 12 trials with 1,766 patients, vitamin C reduced the length of intensive care unit stay on average by 7.8%.”

The risk of severe complications and death increases with time spent in the ICU.

So a reduction of 8% in intensive care duration could be life-saving.

The researchers then looked at the trials that used this vitamin given by mouth.

Moderate oral doses of C significantly reduced the length of time spent in the ICU.

“Orally administered vitamin C in doses of 1-3 g/day reduced the length of ICU stay by 8.6%.”

Just a couple of grams of vitamin C can significantly accelerate recovery in high-risk situations.

Ventilators are used to help people breathe in intensive care units.

People on mechanical ventilators are in a bad way, even by ICU standards.

Three of the studies contained information on people who had been on a mechanical ventilator for over 24 hours.

The supplement was even more beneficial for people on mechanical ventilators.

Vitamin C reduced time spent on the mechanical ventilator by almost 20% on average.

“In three trials in which patients needed mechanical ventilation for over 24 hours, vitamin C shortened the duration of mechanical ventilation by 18%.”

This is a very inexpensive supplement.

The researchers recommend further research into the use of vitamin C in the ICU.

“Given the insignificant cost of vitamin C, even an 8% reduction in ICU stay is worth exploring. The effects of vitamin C on ICU patients should be investigated in more detail.”

The most common side effects are gastrointestinal disturbances and diarrhea.

And this can be a real problem when taken orally.

However, one form, called liposomal vitamin C, greatly reduces the risk of gastrointestinal problems.

You should always consult a healthcare practitioner about treating and diagnosing health-related problems.

—-Important Message About A New Form of Vitamin C—-
