Warning on stents (a must read)

As you read this, remember that I’m not giving you medical advice — but you may become steaming mad!

The sheer audacity of Big Pharma continues to amaze me.

Medical devices in particular seem to be an area where information is limited…

And they often have effects that aren’t proven – or they just don’t work the way they are supposed to.

In fact, the approval process for medical devices in the U.S. is almost non-existent (but that’s a subject for another article).

They do NOT need to prove very much to get their device approved…

One common device that is “installed” over 1 million times a year in the U.S. alone — doesn’t work in many cases!

This device is a PCI – commonly known as a stent – to supposedly prevent heart attacks and heart disease.

It does work in some circumstances.

But for stable coronary artery disease (it’s most common application), the results are iffy at best.

What is stable coronary artery disease?

Stable coronary artery disease has a complex medical definition (see below).

But in plain English, it usually means there is a heart artery blockage that is producing no or very little symptoms.

“Stable coronary artery disease refers to a reversible supply/demand mismatch related to ischemia, a history of myocardial infarction, or the presence of plaque documented by catheterization or computed tomography angiography. Patients are considered stable if they are asymptomatic or their symptoms are controlled by medications or revascularization.”

Most of the time in cases like this, doctors will prescribe lifestyle changes as well as meds.

Many times though, doctors (spurred on by Big Pharma) often also recommend that people get stents (Percutaneous Coronary Intervention) put into their hearts to “open up blood flow.”

Elective percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) has exploded.

On the surface, this makes sense.

Opening a clogged artery with a stent seems like a good idea – it would increase blood flow in the heart.

Which is probably WHY the procedure is so popular with those who have stable coronary artery disease…

And it’s at least one of the reasons that doctors recommend it so often.

“Recent registry data indicate that approximately 85% of all PCI procedures are undertaken electively in patients with stable coronary artery disease.”

Now… I’m never one to hide the truth. So I think it’s important that you know that this procedure does have some initial benefits.

And studies show that PCI (stents) can help patients FEEL better.

“Studies have shown only that PCI decreases the frequency of angina and improves short-term exercise performance.”

Patients who get these devices do often have less pain… But that doesn’t mean that stents save lives.

Zero evidence that PCI for stable coronary artery disease saves lives.

Here’s the thing…

There is absolutely NO evidence that getting a stent when you have stable coronary artery disease does even a little bit to actually prolong your life or keep you from having a heart attack.

“As an initial management strategy in patients with stable coronary artery disease, PCI did not reduce the risk of death, myocardial infarction, or other major cardiovascular events when added to optimal medical therapy.”

That means the thing that stents are SUPPOSED to do they fail at…miserably.

They don’t prolong life. And they don’t keep you from having a heart attack either.

And they are very expensive – as well as quite invasive.

Personally, if a medical device won’t do what it’s supposed to do, I don’t want it in my body.

Before you get a stent, look at all the evidence.

There are acute cases where stents make more sense.

But before you let a doctor do an invasive procedure on one of the most important organs in your body, make sure you do your OWN research…especially if your condition is stable.

The reality is that stents are profitable.

They help Big Pharma and the surgeons that implant them make good money.

But if you have the stable version of coronary artery disease, you may want to skip the stent because there is no evidence they will prolong your life.

—-Important Message for Men Who Want Better Blood Flow Naturally—-

This naturally boosts blood flow AND boosts size “down there”

For the longest time, I worried I was getting smaller down there…

Things seemed a little shrunken up, and getting good “rockiness” became more difficult for me.

Then I discovered I had a blood flow problem…

My arteries were all constricted and blocked, even down in my penile chambers.

A lack of blood flow “down there” was actually shrinking my member!

So I came up with a super simple 2 step size system for men that boosts blood flow and boosts size

This can also naturally lower blood pressure and help the heart — no surgery required
