This demolishes the brain toxin that causes Alzheimer’s

Today’s newsletter has a new perspective over aging and the brain.

Consider Bill — he has dementia and Alzheimer’s all through his family line.

And he’s more than a little freaked out about the possibility of ending up in a nursing home not knowing who his kids are.

There’s very little that’s more frightening about getting older than the thought of losing your mind.

In fact, you hear people say things like “but she still had her mind” when talking about somebody who is dealing with other effects of aging – such as arthritis or even cancer.

That’s why this new treatment for Huntington’s that is showing a lot of progress is so exciting for people like Bill.

Scientists are now discovering how to use genetic therapy to treat diseases.

What’s remarkable is that even five years ago this was in the realm of science fiction.

But now it’s becoming a reality.

Let’s take a look at how this treatment for Huntington’s disease works and the implications it could have for diseases such as Alzheimer’s in the future.

Genetic illnesses used to be managed – now they can be treated.

It used to be that if you had a genetic disease, you might be able to manage it with Big Pharma treatments to control the symptoms…

But any outcome beyond that was not likely to happen.

Genetics were considered to be written in stone.

But with the advent of tools like CRISPR – genetic editing software – and a deeper understanding of how genes work, this is all changing.

“Hailed as ‘enormously significant,’ [the] results in [this] groundbreaking trial are [the] first time a drug has been shown to suppress effects of Huntington’s genetic mutation.”

In this new work on Huntington’s disease, scientists are using a method that not only helps with symptoms but also stops the progression of the disease on a genetic level.

“Current treatments only help with symptoms, rather than slowing the disease’s progression.”

This science is particularly exciting…

Because, instead of traditional pharmaceuticals that act on huge portions of your body’s systems and give you tremendously bad side effects, these new more targeted therapies seem to be safer.

Time will tell of course… These are just preliminary results and need a lot more testing.

But the results of these studies do look very promising.

Here’s the most interesting thing about this study…

It’s how this therapy blocks the disease-causing protein that destroys the brain in Huntington’s.

This is really important because it has huge implications for other diseases such as Alzheimer’s that are caused by specific proteins going haywire.

For the first time, a drug has lowered the level of the toxic disease-causing protein in the nervous system, and the drug was safe and well-tolerated…”

As you can see from this graphic, this therapy actually works at the genetic level to interrupt a specific corrupted process within the genome.

This is absolutely groundbreaking.

Could therapies like this prevent diseases such as Alzheimer’s in the future?

It’s too early to tell yet. But scientists are hopeful that therapies like this could actually prevent disease in the future.

And that’s Including Huntington’s and maybe even Alzheimer’s.

“If the future trial is successful…the drug could ultimately be used in people with the Huntington’s gene before they become ill, possibly stopping symptoms ever occurring… They may just need a pulse every three to four months… One day we want to prevent the disease.”

This could result in a huge increase in “health span” (the ability to live a healthy life for a longer period of time).

Imagine being able to live your entire lifespan healthy? That would be AMAZING.

This type of therapy could even stave off diseases of the brain that are associated with aging.

“A similar synthetic strand of DNA could be made to target the messenger that produces misshapen amyloid or tau proteins in Alzheimer’s.”

I don’t know about you, but I’m really interested to see where this goes.

In the meantime, I’m all in for taking care of myself so that I have the lowest possible risk for getting these types of degenerative brain diseases and other aging conditions.

Use the Kraepelin method to stop amyloid plaques from forming in the brain — prevents Alzheimer’s naturally

I’ve discovered a toxic chemical that seeps into the bloodstream and into the brain…

…forming amyloid plaques that cause Alzheimer’s and dementia.

But I’ve also discovered a solution — a natural way to stop these plaques from forming in the first place.

I call it the Kraepelin method, named after Emil Kraepelin, the “godfather” of Alzheimer’s disease.

And not only does this method prevent amyloid plaques from forming…

…it also breaks down the plaques that have been in your brain for years.

And this will decrease your odds of ever getting Alzheimer’s disease or dementia, or any form of cognitive decline.

Discover the Kraepelin method here.
