This common prostate treatment increases cancer chances

Big Pharma can be pretty short sighted sometimes.

They routinely sell treatments that treat only the symptoms of a disease and often cause bigger long-term problems or don’t actually extend life at all.

It’s a very profitable model for them, and it’s pretty easy to say, “hey this treatment will lower cholesterol levels,” and sell that treatment.

But they leave out telling you that cholesterol is a master hormone and your body needs it to make testosterone.

Convenient?

Obviously, I’m not a big fan of so-called “cholesterol lowering treatments.”

And they aren’t the ONLY thing that Big Pharma does this kind of bait and switch with. It’s much more common than most people realize.

(Always work with your doctor to get off of Rx treatments. I’m not a doctor and this isn’t medical advice.)

The reality is that there are MANY treatments that when you start digging into the research have significant side effects that are counterproductive to what they’re supposed to do.

Some treatments that are used to treat prostate cancer are in that category.

Now, before I go into this if you get diagnosed with prostate cancer, it’s something to take seriously.

Prostate cancer has a very high survival rate, but it’s also one of those diseases that can, on occasion, be quite aggressive and kill you.

If you have prostate cancer you need to know which one of those you have so that you can make GOOD decisions around your health. Your doctor can help you with that.

One of the common treatments for prostate cancer is called anti-androgen therapy.

This is therapy that suppresses the production of testosterone in the body.

Hormone therapy for prostate cancer is used to stop your body from producing the male hormone testosterone, which fuels the growth of prostate cancer cells.

Anti-androgen therapy CAN slow the growth of tumors in the prostate…

But research coming out of Australia’s Queensland University of Technology is also showing that it can CAUSE the prostate cancer cells to more readily grow in bone.

New research has found that anti-androgen treatment can actually facilitate prostate cancer cells to adapt and grow in the bone tumor microenvironment model developed by biomedical scientists.

This is a particularly cruddy problem because prostate cancer that has spread to the bones is OFTEN treated with anti-androgen therapy!

Oops!

Anti-androgen therapy is commonly used to treat patients with advanced prostate cancer at stages where the disease has spread to the bones.

They discovered this particular tidbit of knowledge in the lab with printed biomimetic scaffolds.

“We developed an all-human, microtissue-engineered model of metastatic tissue using human bone-forming cells, prostate cancer cells and 3D printing.”

It’s remarkable technology that allows scientists to test different theories about how specific treatments will interact with human cells without actually testing them on humans.

In general, if you are diagnosed with prostate cancer make sure you are doing your research from reputable sources and asking lots and lots of questions.

Because prostate cancer is often not aggressive there are many times where it’s better to do nothing than to do something.

And if you are given treatments that suppress testosterone levels make sure that they are something you really need and understand how they interact with the cancer spreading to your bones.

Ultimately, your health is in your hands. Make sure you act that way.

This natural cancer-fighting nutrient shrinks the prostate

Men can have a prostate the size of a lemon… sometimes even larger…

But with this special cancer-fighting nutrient I’ve discovered, you can shrink a lemon-sized prostate down to a walnut, the normal size, with good urinary function.

And you can do this at home, without medications or procedures.

This special nutrient is even being called the “anti cancer nutrient” by some scientists.

Because it fights back against toxins and chemicals in the testicles to protect your prostate and keep it healthy.

And now I’ve found a very simple way to increase this cancer-fighting nutrient in the body
