Taurine for hypertension
Hypertension is blood pressure that is higher than normal.
It can happen acutely or be a long-term problem in which case it is called chronic hypertension.
Some symptoms of hypertension are
- Blurry vision
- Headache/dizziness
- Heart palpitations
- Nosebleeds
And a couple of other things.
I have a very close relative who had chronic hypertension.
I have seen how much he has suffered from this condition for many years.
His quality of life was very low because of it.
The moment his blood pressure went up, his whole mood would drop, and he would start to feel very uncomfortable.
Although he went from doctor to doctor, his search for treatment was always fruitless.
Doctors would prescribe a few treatments, but these would push the problem under the rug rather than solve it — not to mention the side effects.
I sat down and thought…
There must be something I could do…
I started researching and came across a study that would solve my relative’s life-long problem.
A review article, more precisely.
One that has compiled a lot of studies that have looked at the link between hypertension and Taurine.
After reading it, I immediately started him on taurine.
It gave him incredible relief from a problem he had not been able to solve for years.
Now it’s time for me to share it with you.
This review article was written at Texas Tech University. It was published in Amino Acids.
Taurine is a natural amino acid found virtually in every part of the human body.
Its functions in the body are endless, so I won’t go into that.
It’s so crucial that if you don’t get enough from food, the body produces it endogenously – but you should still get plenty from external sources.
In this study, the researchers compiled dozens of experiments that investigated the effects of taurine on hypertension.
I will now summarize the results of these experiments in two separate headings: animal experiments and human experiments.
Animal Experiments:
Many experiments in animals with blood pressure for a variety of reasons had one thing in common: taurine supplementation.
Experiment #1
“Nara and colleagues (1978) reported that oral administration of taurine (3% in drinking water for 10 weeks) was effective in lowering resting blood pressure in SHR rats.”
Experiment #2
“Taurine (1.5% in drinking water for 8 weeks) was given to half of the rats and was found to be effective in attenuating the rise in mean arterial pressure, heart rate, and total peripheral resistance in SHR rats during shaker stress.”
Experiment #3
“Taurine was administered in the drinking water (1.5% for 21 weeks) and did not antagonize the effect of a high-salt diet to accelerate the development of hypertension. However, mean blood pressure during the hypertensive stage was slightly lower compared to rats that did not receive taurine. In general, taurine administration showed certain cardio- and renoprotective effects.”
Experiment #4
“Dietary taurine was found to be effective in inhibiting the development of hypertension in DOCA-salt rats.”
Human Experiments:
Human experiments were no different: high blood pressure from different causes and taurine treatment.
Experiment #1
“A clinical study reported that taurine supplementation of eight patients with essential hypertension under a strict 10-g salt diet alleviated the symptoms of hypertension. After 6 weeks of taurine treatment (6 g/day), significant reductions in systolic BP, diastolic BP and mean BP were observed.
Experiment #2
“Among hypertensive patients, systolic, diastolic and mean BP decreased with taurine treatment, whereas with the placebo, no changes were observed.”
Experiment #3
“Mild hypertensive and borderline hypertensive men were given 3 g of taurine per day for 2 months. Both systolic and diastolic BP decreased significantly in 11 out of 17 men who took taurine regularly.”
So there you have the results of some of the experiments compiled.
I wasn’t exaggerating, was I?
Taurine is an excellent and scientifically proven treatment for hypertension.
My own relative’s experience also proves this.
After reading this review article and recommending taurine to him, his life has changed.
Why shouldn’t yours?

Fruity blood flow shake restores erections and lowers pressure
There’s a reason why men with high blood pressure often have erections problems…
And it all goes back to blood flow.
When the arteries get narrow, inflamed, or lose their flexibility… blood flow starts suffering everywhere in a man’s body…
…especially down there where the arteries are tiny and narrow to begin with…
So this blood flow problem… it’s causing a man’s high blood pressure…
And bad blood flow is also why men have erections problems.
Luckily, there’s something easy you can do at home, starting today, to improve blood flow, lower pressure, and restore rockiness…
It’s a simple blood flow shake you drink in the morning…
And oftentimes, men who are drinking this shake go to the doctor…
And the doctor is so blown away by their perfect pressure that he says “stop taking the tablets, you don’t need them anymore.”
Talk to your doctor about trying a natural treatment for blood pressure — like this fruity blood flow shake I’m using to get my pressure down to 120/80
