There are many chemicals that we put into our bodies when we shower, shave, bathe, and even do the dishes.

Some of these chemicals are quite dangerous to our testosterone levels and yet, are perfectly legal.

And showering with these can cause man boobs.

Some of the components are unrealized causes of gynecomastia!

In case you’re not aware, gynecomastia is enlarged male breasts.

And there are many things in our soaps and shampoos that can cause the problem.

Just to give you an idea of how these are absorbed let me first show you this study.

It is about a very common ingredient in all of the antibacterial soap solutions that are popular today.

After putting the soap on people, they found that the triclocarban appeared in the urine.

Meaning that the skin absorbed the triclocarban.

And then the body has to get rid of this stuff.

We measured human urine concentrations after showering with a commercial bar soap containing 0.6%.

The absorption was estimated at 0.6% of the 70 ± 15 mg of TCC in the soap used.

Because of this study, we know now that 1/2 mg to 1 mg is absorbed and metabolized every day.

There are many compounds in the body of various strengths.

Some are so strong that even just 1 millionth of this amount has dramatic effects on the body’s metabolic balance.

To get an idea how even small amounts of these compounds have big effects, let’s look at a few case studies.

These appeared recently in one of the most well-known medical journals in the world.

In this case, a young boy came into the doctor’s office with breast development.

It was a complete mystery to everyone why he had developed gynecomastia.

Then they finally figured out what the cause was.

It turns out that his mother had been applying a medicinal compound with some lavender oil in it.

The gynecomastia partially resolved within 4 months after application of the healing balm was discontinued.

Keep in mind that lavender is present in many laundry detergents and shampoos.

And you don’t need much at all to have this dramatic effect on testosterone and estrogens.

Also keep in mind that the gynecomastia did not completely resolve.

Once these processes start, they are difficult to completely reverse.

Another young man appeared at the clinic with gynecomastia symptoms.

Again, the cause was a mystery.

Then they discovered that he was using a shampoo and styling gel that had tea tree oil and lavender oil in it.

He discontinued using these and, nine months later, the problem had almost disappeared.

Reevaluation 9 months after use of these products was discontinued showed that his areolar mounds had decreased in depth to approximately 1 cm with almost no palpable glandular tissue.

Again realize that these are very small quantities of tea tree oil, lavender oil, or whatever.

And they have very DRAMATIC effects on the endocrine system in the body.

One further issue is what soap we use when showering.

Soap tends to open the pores and increase absorption into the body.

And this speeds up and compounds the damage to the endocrine system.

With this, I think we should consider this is a warning about many of these compounds that are estrogenic — even a tiny, tiny quantities.

If you are suffering from gynecomastia or low testosterone, take a look at your soaps.

You may want to consider what you are putting on your body and even your laundry soap.

Laundry soap can be absorbed through the skin because it leaves a residue even after the laundry has been rinsed.

Many of these herbal ingredients and antibacterial ingredients are frightfully harmful even in very tiny quantities.

Yet they are completely legal and tend to be in most things that you may be putting on in your body.
