Read this before you start another diet

There is a lot of nonsense out there about what kind of diets are good for human health.
Some diets focus on tons of protein, and others focus on tons of fat.
But if you look at how humans traditionally eat in most cultures…
You have a diet with a lot of starch, some fat, and some protein.
So, why do we think these diets that lean heavily into fat and protein are good for us?
I think it must be the marketing that fuels the massive weight loss industry.
Also, the short term results can really help.
If you eat a high fat or high protein diet, you are likely to feel full and might even lose weight — for a while.
But most people get a nasty bounce back effect from diets like this and gain a whole bunch of weight back, plus some.
And if they are following a high fat protocol or a high protein/high fat diet, then they also are likely doing a lot of damage to their health as well.

In a study from the University of South Australia, researchers showed a link between eating a high fat diet and worsening Alzheimer’s disease, depression, and anxiety.
One of the things that is emerging in modern science is the understanding of exactly how much our diets affect the health of both our bodies and our brains.
An international study led by UniSA neuroscientists Professor Xin-Fu Zhou and Associate Professor Larisa Bobrovskaya has established a clear link between mice fed a high-fat diet for 30 weeks, resulting in diabetes, and a subsequent deterioration in their cognitive abilities, including developing anxiety, depression and worsening Alzheimer’s disease.
The researchers gave the mice either a standard diet or a high fat diet for 30 weeks.
The high fat diet (not high sugar!) caused insulin resistance and made the mice behave strangely.
The mice on the high-fat diet gained a lot of weight, developed insulin resistance and started behaving abnormally compared to those fed a standard diet.
The mice that were genetically altered to develop Alzheimer’s also had significant worsening of symptoms while on the high fat diet.
Genetically modified Alzheimer’s disease mice showed a significant deterioration of cognition and pathological changes in the brain while fed the high fat diet.
With research like this, you understand why I get so hot under the collar about all the bad information there is out there about diet.
The reality is that a high fat diet is devastating to human health.
This study was done on mice, but the results are similar in humans…
Fat gain, metabolic disorders like diabetes, and other significant health problems like Alzheimer’s and depression.
Once people start to moderate their fat intake and get rid of PUFA fats in their diet, their health will often start to change for the better.
I’ve seen it over and over again in my work.
You do need some fat in your diet and you shouldn’t go super low fat.
This is one of those cases where moderation is key.
By paying attention to what you eat you have the power to dramatically improve your health.
I’ve tested every plan I recommend myself and I know they work.

Sugar can be GREAT for you! Here’s how to kickstart your body into becoming a youthful sugar burning machine

Do you know what eventually happens to men who only burn fat and not sugar?
Their metabolic rate plummets…and then come the side effects…
Diabetes symptoms first…
…followed by low testosterone, erections problems, obesity, more age-related diseases, even cancer…
So what men want is a sugar-burning metabolism…
Because a sugar-burning metabolism is the key to remaining healthy naturally, and feeling youthful, no matter how old you are.
In fact, men with sugar-burning metabolisms often experience these benefits:
- Blood sugar symptoms are GONE
- Less belly fat and more lean muscle mass
- Long-lasting and firm erections in virtually all men, no matter how long it’s been
- Restores sexual vigor and stamina, even in men who are on multiple medications
- Perfect for pre-diabetic men who want to regain their health, and diabetic men who are sick of suffering from the symptoms…
- …and much more…
