Man with thirst to alcohol taking beer from the shelves with strong drinks in the supermarket

This is way more harmful than having a couple beers after work…

It’s not just alcohol that can ruin your liver – this is worse

I work with men every day who are looking to improve their lives.

I started out helping guys get much better performance in the bedroom, reversing erections problems, and giving them techniques and strategies that help them last for 30 minutes or more.

But the more I got into this work, the more I noticed that it was extremely common for guys to have what are called “comorbidities.”

Now, this is a fancy word that basically means you have more than one medical condition.

Men will often have erections problems + diabetes, high blood pressure, or high cholesterol.

It’s pretty common to have comorbidities, and although I’m pretty healthy now I had comorbidities when I was younger.

One of the things that many guys face that is extremely common and that they almost never know they have is something called a fatty liver.

A fatty liver is extremely common in men who are working to correct sexual function issues, but it’s also something that can be fixed.

A lot of people know that you can get liver problems if you drink too much alcohol, but there is also a condition called non-alcoholic fatty liver disease that is extremely common.

If you are obese you have a 90% chance of having a fatty liver.

If you are diabetic you have a 60% chance.

And even if you are normal weight you still have a 20% chance of having a fatty liver!

“Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease is the most common liver disorder worldwide and is present in approximately 25 percent of the world’s population. Over 90 percent of obese, 60 percent of diabetic, and up to 20 percent of normal-weight people develop it. A key feature of the condition is the accumulation of fat in the liver.”

Most people who have a fatty liver have no idea that they do. In fact most people have never even heard of a fatty liver.

That’s why to most people having a fatty liver may not seem like a very big deal.

But it can be. Having a fatty liver can cause major metabolic problems and it can even result in a condition called nonalcoholic steatohepatitis.

Nonalcoholic steatohepatitis can lead to liver cirrhosis, liver cancer, and even death.

“A liver can remain fatty without disturbing normal function; however, fat accumulations may progress into a so-called non-alcoholic steatohepatitis — an aggressive form of the non-alcoholic fatty liver disease combined with inflammation and sometimes fibrosis. Non-alcoholic steatohepatitis can lead to further complications such as liver cirrhosis, primary liver cancer and eventually death.”

Now, not everyone who has a fatty liver ends up with more severe liver disease, but it’s something that can happen and scientists are trying to figure out how the liver goes from fatty to deadly.

“The researchers used comparative genomics to analyze mechanisms that control the development and specialized functions of the most abundant cell type in the liver, the hepatocyte. “Our results demonstrated that during progression to non-alcoholic steatohepatitis, hepatocytes suffer from partial identity loss, they are re-programmed,” explained Anne Loft, first co-author of the article.”

But even if you JUST have a fatty liver, it’s something you should pay attention to, because having a fatty liver can cause real metabolic issues.

You’ll get hungry more often, your body will often feel sluggish and tired, and you will set yourself up for diabetes.

None of these are optimal outcomes, which is why paying attention to the health of your liver is crucial.
