Fortunately, it can be very easy to lower estrogen.

These men live in remote corners of the world… They smoke tobacco all day and have sex with their wives – and they’re over 90 years old…

And it’s not a coincidence that these men are able to perform sexually, even at their age and with their harmful habits…

Because these men do something that no man in the Western world does.

I visited these men and learned their shocking secret…

And I found out the secret is easily attainable for men in the West.

Here’s what these old smokers do to keep having sex into old age (and it does NOT involve anything from Big Pharma)

Is high estrogen the cause of ED?

Science has proposed many theories as to the cause of erection problems…

Low testosterone, not enough nitric oxide, diabetes, and obesity – all of these feature heavily in the literature.

A new study shows that high estrogen causes erection problems.

The Sexual Medicine and Andrology Unit, University of Florence, Italy conducted this animal study and published the results in the Journal of Sexual Medicine.

Science already understood very well that estrogen causes damage to the developing male reproductive system.

[cmamad id=”18084″ align=”center” tabid=”display-desktop” mobid=”display-desktop” stg=””]

“The estrogen receptor is critical in mediating the harmful effects of hyper-estrogenism in fetal or neonatal life on the developing penis.”

But research on the effects of estrogen in adults is lacking.

“In contrast, little is known on the impact of an excess of estrogens on penile function in adulthood.”

Metabolic syndrome is strongly associated with erectile problems – and it causes an increase in estrogen.

This study looked into estrogen, penile function, and metabolic syndrome in rabbits.

“We investigated the effect of estrogens on metabolic-syndrome-associated erectile dysfunction.”

The scientists fed lab rabbits a high-fat diet in order to cause metabolic syndrome and erectile dysfunction.

“We employed a recently established animal model of high-fat-diet-induced metabolic syndrome.”

Metabolic syndrome causes low testosterone and high estrogen.

The researchers designed this study to figure out which of these factors cause erectile problems.

They gave either testosterone supplementation or an estrogen blocker called tamoxifen to rabbits with metabolic syndrome.

“Subgroups of metabolic syndrome rabbits were dosed with either testosterone or tamoxifen.”

The scientists then exposed the rabbits to acetylcholine – a brain chemical that affects erections.

“We evaluated penile responsiveness to acetylcholine as well as the genes related to penile smooth muscle relaxation and contractility.”

In rabbits, as in humans, a high-fat diet and metabolic syndrome cause low testosterone and high estrogen.

“High-fat-diet-induced metabolic syndrome was associated with elevated estrogen and low testosterone levels.”

In the study, blocking estrogen with tamoxifen reduced body fat and increased testosterone.

“Tamoxifen dosing reduced visceral adiposity and partially restored T levels.”

And testosterone supplementation normalized the amount of estrogen.

“T dosing significantly improved high-fat diet and metabolic syndrome and completely normalized circulating estrogen.”

In addition, blocking estrogen or supplementing with testosterone restored the penile response to acetylcholine.

“Acetylcholine-induced relaxation was severely impaired by high-fat diet and restored by both tamoxifen and testosterone dosing.”

While the study found that high estrogen led to genetic changes associated with erectile problems…

Low testosterone did not have this same effect.

“Estrogen was independently and negatively associated with genes able to affect penile erection.”

So, while increasing testosterone or lowering estrogen can provide many benefits, it seems to be estrogen that causes erection problems.

“Erectile dysfunction is more associated with high estrogen, rather than low T.”

This means we can improve erectile dysfunction through weight loss.

And weight loss is likely to create vast improvements in metabolic symptoms (and to lower estrogen).

Testosterone supplementation may lead to increased estrogen, especially in cases of metabolic syndrome or when people are overweight.

And that’s because your body can convert testosterone to estrogen.

So it seems that lowering or blocking estrogen is the most direct way to counter sexual problems.

Tamoxifen, the drug used in this study, does not lower estrogen. Tamoxifen blocks estrogen from activating the estrogen receptor.

“Diet-induced erectile dysfunction is partially restored by T but also with the nonsteroidal estrogen antagonist, tamoxifen.”

Weight loss is necessary for overweight people who want to reduce estrogen in the long term.

But aromatase inhibitors can also prevent the conversion of testosterone into estrogen.

Zinc is probably the most well-known aromatase inhibitor…

Oysters, a famous aphrodisiac, contain very high levels of zinc.

You can decrease estrogen by getting an adequate amount of these simple B vitamins.

The liver detoxes estrogen from the body.

And if you don’t have enough vitamins B1 and B2 available in your body, that can limit this detoxification process.

You should see a healthcare professional about treating and diagnosing erectile problems.

Pharmaceutical estrogen blockers and aromatase inhibitors can have strong side effects when used without proper supervision.
