Why I do this simple but weird little practice at home everyday

So, when I want more potency and vigor, I do this weird little practice at home and I’m raring to go…

It works because it raises my temperatures and literally makes my metabolism the same as when I was a young man of 20.

I’m actually doing it right now, and my temperature is at 98.8, and I’m raring to go with Jodi.

Easy peasy. And you can do the same in your life.

In fact, if you don’t, you will find that you deflate as a man and find everything tougher, slower, lower, and colder.

But with my weird little practice, well now you are always ready, always hot to trot.

And it’s wonderful for a man’s overall health and longevity too. What a winner — better sex, more sex, and younger brain and body.

All from this one simple but weird little practice…

How to speed up your metabolism with Saskatoon berries

The standard American diet is high in fat and refined sugar.

This combination is strongly associated with the development of metabolic problems.

These include weight gain, high blood sugar, insulin resistance, and systemic inflammation…factors that lead to cardiovascular disease.

But there are foods that can protect against these types of metabolic problems.

Recent studies indicate that Saskatoon berries are one such food.

In mice, supplementing with Saskatoon berry powder prevented metabolic problems and inflammation caused by a high-fat, high-sugar diet.

This experiment took place at the University of Manitoba in Canada. The Journal of Nutritional Biochemistry published the results.

The Saskatoon berry grows on a small shrub native to Western Canada and in the Northwestern United States.

It is similar in appearance and nutritional profile to blueberry.

The sweet purple fruit contains high amounts of beneficial plant compounds called anthocyanins

These compounds have numerous beneficial effects, protecting metabolism and reducing inflammation.

So researchers were curious to see how the Saskatoon berry would perform in animals eating an unhealthy diet.

They used three different groups of mice for the experiment, with eight mice in each group:

  • The first group received the standard, healthy diet.
  • Group 2 received a high-fat, high-sugar diet. This diet creates metabolic problems and systemic inflammation in mice.
  • Group 3 got the same high-fat, high-sugar diet. But these animals also received Saskatoon berry powder (5% by weight of total diet).

“Mice were fed a control diet, high-fat, high-sucrose diet; or high-fat, high-sucrose + 5% Saskatoon berry powder diet for 15 weeks.”

The researchers tracked dozens of metabolic and inflammatory markers in the three groups of mice.

The high-fat, high-sugar diet was effective at creating severe metabolic problems and systemic inflammation.

“High fat, high-sugar diets increased body weight, fasting blood sugar, insulin, insulin resistance, and tumor necrosis factor alpha.”

The addition of Saskatoon berry powder limited the degree of metabolic and inflammatory problems.

“Saskatoon berry powder postponed the increase in body weight, suppressed disorders in the metabolic and inflammatory variables.”

The benefits of Saskatoon berries include:

  • Reduced fasting blood sugar
  • Decreased insulin resistance
  • Decreased cholesterol and triglycerides
  • Decreased vascular inflammation (reducing the risk of atherosclerosis)

Metabolic problems and systemic inflammation are usually associated with gut problems.

So the researchers were curious about the potential effect of Saskatoon berry on gut bacteria.

They found that the fruit had potent effects on bacterial populations known to affect metabolism and inflammation.

They looked at the ratio of Firmicutes bacteria to Bacteroidetes bacteria.

Animals on the high-fat, high-sugar diet had a higher ratio of these bacteria than animals on a normal diet.

“The ratio of Firmicutes/Bacteroidetes in the high-fat, high-sugar group was higher than that in the control group.”

But animals given supplementary Saskatoon berry powder had a lower Firmicutes to Bacteroidetes ratio.

“The ratio of Firmicutes/Bacteroidetes in the high-fat, high-sugar plus Saskatoon berry group was higher than that in the high-fat, high-sugar group.”

Many of the benefits of Saskatoon berries could be attributed to their effects on gut bacteria…

…those gut bacteria that are a major source of inflammation and metabolic toxins.

“Saskatoon berry powder attenuated high-fat and high-sugar diet-induced metabolic disorders, vascular inflammation, and gut microbial alterations in mice.”

The research comes on the back of similar findings with blueberries in humans and animals.

Saskatoon berries and blueberries are similar in appearance and nutrition.

However, Saskatoon berries are also known for their particularly high riboflavin, biotin, and manganese content.

100 gm of Saskatoon berries contains between 70% and 100% of the recommended daily requirements of these three critical nutrients.

You should always consult a healthcare practitioner about diagnosing and treating any health-related problems.

Picture in your mind’s eye waking up today with sturdy morning wood, the kind you used to get all the time as a young man…
