A calcium-deficient diet decreases bone mineral density and increases estrogen

The importance of strong bones increases with age.

Because people who have weaker bones are more likely to experience health issues.

Do you want to be a strong, active, and young-looking man or a weak and fragile man who’s struggling to walk?

Well, I already know the answer.

And, yes – I want that one too.

I hear you saying, “Matt, how can we do that?”

One word: Calcium.

It’s not shocking, I know.

But it’s THAT important.

There’s a reason why virtually everyone thinks that “dairy equals stronger bones and tall people.”

It’s true.

While calcium is the BEST thing for stronger bones – there are many things in which it’s involved in our bodies.

You’ll see 2 super important ones in today’s study.

I don’t want to spoil it, but I just want to say this…

calcium = strong bones & towel-hanging erections (low estrogen)

This study was conducted at Fujita Health University. It was published in Metabolism: Clinical and Experiment.

The researchers investigated the effects of a calcium-deficient diet and…

… whether some compounds (I’ll tell) could reverse the adverse effects on bones.

To do this, they divided the rats into 2 groups:

  • 1st group was fed a Calcium-deficient diet
  • 2nd group was fed a regular diet containing more calcium

The Calcium-deficient diet caused a 12% reduction in bone mineral density in the rats.

“The Ca-deficient diet reduced bone mineral density (BMD) by approximately 12%.”

Then, the researchers gave some of the rats on the Ca-deficient diet either vitamin K2 (MK-4) or elcatonin (an anti-PTH compound).

Both of these compounds reversed the reduction in bone mineral density.

“Administration of menatetrenone or elcatonin was able to reverse the reduction in BMD induced by Ca deficiency.”

That said, even if the rats had virtually no calcium in their diet, vitamin K2 and reducing the parathyroid (PTH) hormone have protective effects on bones.

It’s not over.

Even worse things kept happening to these poor rats…

Their low calcium diet skyrocketed their estrogen levels.

“The mean estradiol level in sera of rats fed the Ca-deficient diet was significantly increased to 4.3 times that in the regular diet group.”

A particular enzyme called testicular aromatase cytochrome P450 levels were significantly higher in these rats as well…

And this enzyme is involved in producing estrogen in males.

“Testicular aromatase cytochrome P450 (P450(arom); estrogen synthetase) activity was significantly increased by 2.4-fold in the Ca-deficient diet group compared to that in the regular diet group, and the aromatase mRNA level was also significantly increased 1.45-fold. Testicular aromatase activity was strongly correlated with aromatase mRNA level and serum estradiol level.”

You know what excess estrogen does to you.

Poor rockiness, no libido, man boobs… Do I need to say more?

But here’s the thing…

Giving vitamin K2 MK4 to these rats made their estrogen levels drop.

“However, the increased estradiol concentration was reduced after the administration of menatetrenone or elcatonin.”

So…

The takeaway is to get lots of calcium and vitamin K2.

Dairy, particularly cheese, is a rich source of these 2.

Keeping PTH hormone levels low is also very important – thankfully, calcium helps with that too.

—-Important Message About Getting Your Vitamins—-

Why men should be eating enchiladas, ice cream, and pasta

I’ve discovered certain delicious foods that most men are told to avoid…

…foods like pizza, pasta, and ice cream…

And these foods are actually so important in keeping the body’s vitamin and nutrient levels in balance.

Without these foods — men’s vitamin D levels will fall…

Calcium will get too high and start leaking into the bloodstream, causing blockages…

And no amount of supplements will fix it.

Men must eat certain foods — foods that they’re often told to stay away from — if they want to keep key vitamins and nutrients in the right ratio.

I call it the Golden Ratio, and here’s what happens to a man when he gets the Golden Ratio right…

(Hint: it makes a BIG difference in bed…)
