Here’s what happens to men who eat high-fat diets

There are a lot of trendy diets out there…

Including MANY that promote eating a lot of fat and protein and almost no carbs at all.

This includes Atkins and Paleo, along with lots of others.

Usually, they call the high-fat intake something like “nutritive fat,” or other term that makes you think the fat is healthy for you.

The problem is that eating a high-fat diet seems like it works for a while…

…but then causes weight gain, hormone disruptions, and other health issues like erections problems.

Here’s what happens when you eat a high fat diet…

How This Study Was Done

This study was done on mice who were fed either a normal diet (ND) or a very high-fat diet for varying degrees of time.

Mice were fed on normal diet (ND) and VHFD for 2 weeks, 12 weeks, and 25–27 weeks. We assessed changes in body weight, food consumption, energy intake, cellular and tissue morphology, hormonal levels (leptin, insulin, and estradiol), and vaginal smears were performed at various time points to determine the length and cellularity at each stage of the estrous cycle.

Various hormone levels were tested and functions of hormones — like the mice’s estrous (reproductive) cycle.

Fat Is Very Calorie Dense

Before I get into the results of the experiment, it’s important to know a little about the properties of fat.

Fat is incredibly calorie dense. It has 9 calories per gram, where protein and carbs have only 4 per gram.

Fat has more than twice as many calories per gram as carbohydrates and proteins. A gram of fat has about 9 calories, while a gram of carbohydrate or protein has about 4 calories. In other words, you could eat twice as much carbohydrates or proteins as fat for the same amount of calories.

That means that a very high-fat diet is automatically calorie dense — meaning it has more calories per gram than nearly any other food combination.

Caloric Density Matters

It turns out that when it comes to weight gain, calorie density MATTERS. The mice fed the very high-fat diet gained weight while eating less.

Mice fed on VHFD showed a significant increase in weight gain, reduction in food intake, and increase in energy intake compared to animals fed on ND, indicating that the caloric density of the diet is responsible for the differences in weight gain

Hormonal cycles also dramatically changed with a VHFD.

High Fat Diets Disrupt Hormonal Cycles Over the Long Term

Mice on high-fat diets showed much higher levels of estrogen.

Hormonal analysis showed hyperleptinemia, hyperinsulinemia, and increases in estrogen levels, along with increases in size of the islet of Langerhans and adipocytes.

They also showed tremendous disruption in their reproductive cycles.

After 25–27 weeks, all animals fed on VHFD showed complete acyclicity; elongation of phases (e.g., diestrous), skipping of phases (e.g., metestrous), or a combination of both, indicating disruption in the reproductive cycle. Quantitative analysis showed that in the diestrous phase there was a 70% increase in cell count in VHFD compared to animals fed on ND.

In my experience, high-fat diets have much the same effect on humans as they do on mice.

They spike men and women’s estrogen levels, cause hormone problems, and lead to weight gain.

They can also cause MAJOR problems with male sexual function…

Which is why when men start on my programs, I almost always recommend a low-fat diet as part of the program.

High-fat diets are very trendy right now, but they are not good for you.

Just don’t do it!

—-Important Message for Men About Carbs and Sugar—-

Kick start your body into burning sugar = restore youthful metabolism, big boners, and blood sugar problems are GONE

What is the biggest difference between youth and old age?

Metabolism.

Young people are always full of energy and in great health because they have hot, high metabolisms.

They burn carbs and sugar for energy.

However, older men get cold and sluggish and their metabolisms slow down.

And they burn only fat for energy.

And this opens them up to weight gain, “rockiness” problems, diabetes, prostate issues, and even cancer.

So how do you restore a hot, high metabolism?

Simple — just use this sippy cup activity to kickstart your body into burning sugar again and enjoy better health and better sex life.
