Fenugreek seed supplement not a good idea for men

Fenugreek seed supplement not a good idea for men

People are taking fenugreek seeds more and more often.

And many of these people are guys looking to improve their health and their sexual well-being.

For example, Dr. Mercola claims that fenugreek supplements help:

“Fenugreek seeds…help lower LDL (bad) cholesterol levels by discouraging bile salts from absorbing into the colon, while at the same time binding to toxins so they can be escorted from the body.”

However, this is not the full story.

In fact, fenugreek seeds may be something that you want to avoid.

Or just get them occasionally on your pizza or in Indian food.

Fenugreek and testosterone levels do not get along at all.

In this study, researchers looked at the effect fenugreek had on testosterone.

And MANY male sex hormones fell.

Plus, the study observed this about previous research:

Male mice treated that fed on fenugreek seeds lowered testosterone to 30% and male rabbits lowered testosterone to 65.8% of normal.

So, as it turns out, it is not a good idea to consume fenugreek except occasionally as a spice.

I don’t think the doses that you’re going to get on a pizza or in some Indian food is going to hurt you.

But I certainly wouldn’t take it regularly as a supplement.
