Vitamin C reduces the duration of a common cold by about 10%.

But it may turn out that L-theanine does a much better job reducing the duration of a common cold.

And it may do a better job lowering your chances of even getting a cold.

L-theanine is an amino acid found in tea.

And it may be the key to how to get rid of common cold.

This simple supplement could be one of the best remedies for cold symptoms.

Apparently, L-theanine works by enhancing the function of the lymphatic system.

This is the system that is largely responsible for much of our immune function.

Supplementation of subjects with capsules containing L-theanine has recently been shown to decrease the incidence of cold and flu symptoms.

We finally know why Mom always said tea could make you feel better.

There was also a double-blind study of a supplement that contains L-cysteine and L-theanine.

In this study, some of the participants took tablets containing both of these compounds.

The results showed a significant reduction in the number of subjects who even got a cold.

186 subjects were recruited.

Half of these took a placebo.

The other half of the recruits took L-theanine supplements.

The result is that many more people who were taking the placebo got a cold during the 35-day experiment.

In other words, L-theanine reduced the likelihood of even getting a cold.

The cumulative numbers of days affected by the common cold were 18 days in the L-theanine group and 59 days in the placebo group.

So the colds were shorter for the people who took the L-theanine supplement.

The pill they were taking included L-cystine.

I do not think L-cystine is a very good ingredient.

And, I would think that the same benefits or greater could be obtained by just taking the L-theanine directly.

L-theanine also has amazing qualities.

If you take nicotine or smoke, L-theanine will reduce or eliminate the effects of the nicotine.

And if you drink coffee, the L-theanine amino acid will reduce the effects of the caffeine.

Many people take nicotine or caffeine for their medicinal effects.

But they don’t like the jitters or other side effects that come with nicotine or caffeine.

L-theanine can eliminate these jitters while still providing the benefits of nicotine of caffeine.

As a side note, healthy eating can reduce your chances of catching a cold.

And it greatly reduces the severity of the cold.

So a healthy eating plan and L-theanine for colds are much more useful than just vitamin C.

Together, they eliminate colds or make the cold pass quicker.
