The FDA is letting harmful stuff stay on the market – and it may be killing men and CAUSING diabetes symptoms.

Metformin can cause neuropathy, which is then wrongly blamed on diabetes.

This New Superfood You’ve Been Hearing About: Safe for Men?

Ginger is one of the most widely used folk medicines in the world.

Many people use ginger and swear by its natural healing properties.

But there has not been a lot of evidence to support this in scientific literature…

Until now, that is.

That’s because a recent analysis showed that ginger can lower inflammation while improving fasting blood glucose, cholesterol, and triglycerides.

The effect of ginger supplementation on serum C-reactive protein, lipid profile and glycaemia: a systematic review and meta-analysis

These researchers carried out this analysis at the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Beijing and published their paper in the Journal of Food and Nutrition Research.

Medical professionals tend to be very skeptical about the claimed health benefits of ginger.

[cmamad id=”20511″ align=”center” tabid=”display-desktop” mobid=”display-desktop” stg=””]

But there is actually a lot of research on the topic.

This paper compiled data from many different studies and looked at the effect of ginger on C-reactive protein, lipids, and blood sugar.

“We undertook a systematic review of studies to determine the effect of ginger supplementation on C-reactive protein, lipids, and glycemia.”

After searching through medical databases, the researchers found nine studies that they deemed to be very high quality. They used these for the analysis.

“From a total of 265 entries identified via searches, 9 studies were included in the final selection.”

The scientists then set to work analyzing the data from all of these human studies.

The first marker they looked at was C-reactive protein (CRP).

The liver produces C-reactive protein in response to inflammation.

High levels of C-reactive protein are found in inflammatory diseases like cancer, cardiovascular disease, inflammatory bowel disease, and rheumatoid arthritis.

Elevated C-reactive protein in the blood is a bad sign.

The study found that ginger lowers the levels of C-reactive protein.

“The meta-analysis indicated a significant reduction in C-reactive protein concentrations following ginger supplementation.”

Lower C-reactive protein decreases the risk for a large number of diseases.

Ginger was also associated with lower fasting blood glucose.

“The meta-analysis indicated a significant reduction in fasting blood glucose after ginger supplementation.”

HbA1c is a blood test that indicates how well the body manages blood sugar over a long period of time.

It is a good indicator of blood sugar management over the previous three months.

Ginger supplementation also significantly lowered HbA1c.

And this shows that ginger may keep blood sugar in check in the long term.

“Fasting HbA1c was significantly lower with ginger supplementation.”

The study also found that HDL-cholesterol and triglycerides improved with ginger supplementation.

“Moreover, HDL and triglyceride significantly improved after ginger administration.”

Ginger could be a useful addition to the diet for people suffering from inflammation, blood sugar problems, or blood lipid problems.

“This meta-analysis suggests that ginger supplementation significantly reduces serum C-reactive protein and improves glycemia indexes and lipid profiles.”

The authors advise that these results warrant larger controlled trials.

“Randomized control trials with larger sample size and with a longer-term follow-up period should be considered for future investigations.”

The study was not able to explain how ginger provides these benefits.

But ginger is known to have antimicrobial effects, so maybe it works by killing off bad bacteria.

Ginger also counteracts the effect of serotonin in the gut.

We know full well that serotonin is related to chronic diseases.

Ginger has been used as a food and as a medicine for thousands of years.

It’s considered to be very safe.

However, this study didn’t look at the effect of different doses of ginger.

But studies have shown that 5 to 10 grams of powdered ginger per day is safe for most people.

Ginger has a warming effect and a slightly spicy taste. It goes well with a bit of honey as a tea.

Ginger probably originated in Asia and some of the best dishes using ginger are Asian specialties.

You should always consult a healthcare professional about diagnosing and treating any health problems.
