This lowers blood pressure, weight, and blood sugar…

Metabolic syndrome is a cluster of conditions including belly fat, high blood pressure, and high blood sugar.

We already know from some animal experiments that raw crushed garlic can improve these risk factors.

Until now, there were no experiments on the effect of raw crushed garlic on metabolic syndrome.

But we now we have the results of the first human study on raw garlic and metabolic syndrome.

And, indeed, it seems that raw crushed garlic could be very beneficial for people with metabolic syndrome.

These researchers conducted this human study at the Department of Physiology, CU Shah Medical College, Surendranagar Gujarat, India and published their results in the Journal of Dietary Supplements.

In animal studies, raw garlic already showed promise for helping with metabolic syndrome.

“Raw garlic homogenate has been reported to reduce serum lipid levels in animal models.”

This new study set out to see what effect garlic has on metabolic syndrome in humans.

“The present study was designed to investigate the effect of raw crushed garlic on components of metabolic syndrome.”

The researchers randomly selected 40 men and women with a diagnosis of metabolic syndrome from patients attending a diabetes clinic.

“A total of 40 metabolic syndrome patients were randomly selected from the diabetic center.”

All of the participants took a garlic supplement for four weeks.

The supplement consisted of raw crushed garlic taken twice a day.

They based the dose of garlic on the body weight of the patient.

“They underwent treatment with 100 mg/kg body weight raw crushed garlic two times a day with standard diet for four weeks.”

The doctors took body measurements and blood samples related to metabolic syndrome –before and after the garlic intervention.

“Body measurements and blood samples were taken at both the beginning and the end of the study.”

Garlic significantly improved a number of markers of metabolic syndrome.

“Raw crushed garlic significantly reduced components of metabolic syndrome.”

Participants lost an average of 3.5 centimeters of waist circumference.

The average (diastolic) blood pressure among participants decreased from 150 to 140.

“Raw crushed garlic significantly reduced waist circumference, systolic, and diastolic blood pressure.”

Garlic treatment also reduced blood sugar and triglycerides.

Fasting blood sugar came down from an average of 165 to 120.

“Garlic significantly reduced triglycerides and fasting blood glucose.”

Statistical analysis of a number of parameters led scientists to conclude that raw garlic may be beneficial for the treatment of metabolic syndrome.

“Garlic has beneficial effects on the metabolic syndrome – it is a potential remedy for the prevention and treatment of patients with metabolic syndrome.”

All of the factors that make up metabolic syndrome are also associated with changes in gut bacteria (this is metabolic endotoxemia).

Interestingly, garlic has potent antibiotic effects.

The antibiotic effects of garlic may improve gut bacteria much like a chemical antibiotic…

This study experimented with 100 mg of raw garlic per kg of body weight per person.

For a 220 lb person, the dose would be 10g twice a day. That’s a lot of garlic to get down.

Other studies have shown that strong garlic extracts are useful for some markers of metabolic syndrome.

These researchers conducted this human study at the Diabetes Research Centre, Shahid University, Iran and published their results in the International Journal of Diabetes in Developing Countries.

This study was similar to the one above, but it used garlic extract instead of raw garlic.

They used a product called Garsin.

Garsin is a garlic extract with high amounts of active compounds allicin and alliin.

There are many similar supplements.

“They underwent treatment with one Garsin tablet (300 mg of effective extract of garlic) three times a day for four weeks.”

This study found that only the garlic extract was beneficial in treating some symptoms of metabolic syndrome.

And the effective dose was much lower than with raw garlic.

“Garsin is effective in lowering blood glucose and lipids and may be useful for the treatment of diabetic and hyperlipidemic patients.”

It seems that either high doses of raw crushed garlic (or lower doses of potent garlic supplements) could help some people who have metabolic syndrome.

You should always consult a healthcare professional for diagnosing illness.

A whole new world of pleasure

I discovered a way to vastly increase blood flow to my penis.

Now when I want to have sex with my wife, my penis inflates into a huge engorged balloon (so to speak) and we are both thrilled.

Weirdly enough, this is what did it for me…
