You probably have this in your bathroom cabinet. Here’s why you should dig it out again.

—–Important Message——-

What’s wrong with these foods?

For decades, the US government had a simple message about diet…

To avoid chronic illnesses like diabetes, obesity, and heart disease, Americans should cut back on saturated fat, cholesterol, sugar, and sodium.

That’s the message. Yet we’re sicker than ever today.

More than 29 million adults in the US – over 10% of the population – currently have diabetes…

In fact, five of the most dangerous foods that could lead to diabetes are being eaten by tens of millions of people…

…who have NEVER been told about the sometimes terrible effects.

And it’s tough to spot the foods that make diabetes worse.

That’s why I hunted through many studies and discovered a 30-cent remedy that has been around for 150 years – and learned how it gets RID of diabetes.

And it’s been proven safe.

Now you can eat almost anything without having to avoid delicious food items that make diabetes worse.

You can start this right away and find relief within a few weeks.

Here’s the best protection that I use all the time.

You know this stuff.

You might still have some in your cabinet.

But maybe you pushed it to the back, because of the warnings that it can irritate your stomach.

Well, dig it out again!

This study found a new way that aspirin protects men from heart attacks and strokes…

“Our aim was to determine if, in addition to its well-known platelet inhibitory action, aspirin has a direct endothelial protective effect…if it is capable of increasing endothelial resistance towards oxidative damage.”

[cmamad id=”13605″ align=”center” tabid=”display-desktop” mobid=”display-desktop” stg=””]

We already knew that aspirin protects our hearts by preventing clots and reducing inflammation.

Now they’ve found that it starts helping us at an earlier stage than that.

It protects the endothelium, which lines the blood vessels and the heart.

“Vascular endothelial cells line the entire circulatory system from the heart to the smallest capillaries.”

When these linings are damaged, clots can start forming.

“It is the reduced integrity of the endothelial cell lining (endothelial damage) that facilitates adhesion of platelets and other blood cells to the vascular wall and can thus be considered a primary cause of atherogenesis and thrombosis…”

Aspirin works against inflammation and it’s an antioxidant too.

When the endothelial linings are healthy, less stuff can stick to the walls of your arteries.

“The intact endothelial layer serves as a selective barrier for plasma lipids and also has antithrombotic properties…”

So blood can get through without obstruction…

Clots are less likely to form, move through your bloodstream, and block vessels in your heart or your brain.

“In addition to platelet inhibition, protection and preservation of the vascular endothelium may, therefore, be an important and equally effective approach to interfere with the initiating events of atherosclerosis – and to prevent occlusive cardio- and cerebrovascular diseases.”

So aspirin is a great two-in-one heart attack prevention approach:

  • Keeps artery walls healthy so less stuff sticks to them
  • Prevents clots from forming, and inflammation from flaring up

The effect of aspirin was powerful – endothelial cells were 64% more viable…

“Aspirin (10–30 μM) protected endothelial cells from hydrogen peroxide-mediated cytotoxicity in a concentration-dependent manner and increased viability by up to 64% of control.”

And aspirin was found to be 10 times as potent as Vitamin E.

“The established antioxidant and radical scavenger vitamin E was also found to reduce cytotoxicity…which is in line with previous investigations…”

“However, when compared on a molar basis, aspirin turned out to be about 10-fold more potent in endothelial protection than vitamin E.”

I wouldn’t replace Vitamin E. I’d take both E and aspirin. They work together.

“…despite sharing antioxidant properties, aspirin and vitamin E may have different sites and mechanisms of action…”

Just make sure your Vitamin E is from a quality source, and that you take Vitamin K2 with it.

Some supplements have declined in quality since manufacturers began taking shortcuts for bigger profits.

Also, get enough Vitamin D3.

Oh, and what about the warnings against aspirin?

The researchers were well aware of the warnings that aspirin irritates the stomach.

But there was a surprise in store for them:

“Our findings are nevertheless surprising since aspirin-dependent effects on surface cells such as in gastric mucosa have been characterized as irritating or cytotoxic rather than protective.”

Aspirin actually helped artery linings and did not irritate surfaces.

“Despite widespread concern that even under low-dose antithrombotic regimens aspirin may lead to suppression of endothelial prostacyclin, an antithrombotic and vasodilatory cyclooxygenase metabolite…

“…according to our data aspirin appears to preserve overall endothelial integrity and thereby to actually support the antithrombotic and antiatherogenic function of the endothelium under conditions of oxidative stress.”

Aspirin is totally worth your reconsideration. I use it all the time.

If you have concerns, you might prefer to dissolve it in water and drink it after a meal.

1. How important is including vitamins in your diet?
Vitamins and Minerals are very important for the right functioning of the human body.Normally available through food, it is very important that everybody takes the body’s needed composition of Vitamins as it ensures the proper functioning of the myriad body processes.Over a 30 different kind of Vitamins is processed and used by the human body for its different roles. Some heals wounds and boosts bone health, some make the immune system stronger and some keeps the hormone production healthy. A combination of Vitamin D, Vitamin K and Calcium is very important for the bone health and it protects the bones from fractures. Vitamin C helps to absorb iron for the body needs while Vitamin B6, Vitamin B12 and Folic acid plays a important role in metabolizing amino acids which is also called as the building block of proteins. Vitamin C is also crucial since it helps in the production of collagen which helps in curing wounds, supports blood vessel walls and provides structure to the teeth and bones. Vitamin C also acts as a powerful antioxidant against the damage by free radicals. Vitamin D plays a big role in controlling cholesterol and helps to maintain balanced blood pressure levels. The foods that are rich in Vitamin D include eggs and dairy products, but the most simple and natural source is exposure to the sun. Having Vitamin D in ones diet can help in the maintenance of bone health, protect brain health and can even help manage depression or mood disorders. Vitamin A helps to keep the eyes healthy and enhances vision.Vitamin E rich foods like nuts and seeds is very important to be included in men’s diet since it lowers the risk to diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease, atherosclerosis, skin damage and even Diabetes. Vitamin K is also an essential Vitamin that is beneficial for strong bones. It also helps in blood clotting and can help prevent heart disease. Vitamin K is usually found in green leafy vegetables, broccoli, collards and cabbage and also in fish & eggs too.

2. Are multivitamins for men helpful?
In today’s modern busy lives, sometimes the body may not get the combination of minerals and vitamins that it needs from the diets that most people follow. Though most of the needed compounds that a human body needs can be got from a basic healthy diet, sometimes it could be too much to pay attention to each of those needs. Also for people who might be involved in work engagements that needs a more than general level of minerals or vitamins intake (High stress sports or physical work ),taking the right multivitamins can play a very beneficial role. This may be the reason that Americans spend millions on vitamin and mineral supplements. A better alternative would be to just make sure that one is eating more vegetables and fruits. But having said that Vitamin supplements are especially beneficial for people who have certain vitamin deficiencies. For example Vitamin D is a vitamin which is difficult to be found in a healthy diet. If one does not get the needed sun exposure during the day, then taking the specific Vitamin as a supplement can help. Low Vitamin D levels can cause blood and mood disorders like depression and seasonal affective disorder, so supplementation is ideal. For people who are suffering from specific physical conditions that are caused by a Vitamin deficiency, e.g Anemia (red blood cell deficiency which can cause fatigue) taking a iron supplement may become necessary. There can be specific medical conditions or medications that can impact a man’s natural body’s capacity to absorb particular nutrients, in that case the supplementation can be only way to keep healthy. So though depending only on Multivitamins for your body’s health may not be the right solution, some specific situations may downright demand it. It is always important to consult a doctor or a medical practitioner if one truly needs one or is suffering from a particular deficiency, before one starts taking a multivitamin.Vitamin supplementation may seem harmless but too much of it can also be harmful for the body. For example too much of Vitamin E can cause heart problems in some people. Also some Vitamin supplementation if taken without the proper medical intervention can interfere with medical conditions. Certain calcium supplements can interfere with Thyroid medications. So consulting one’s health care provider is most important before one follows a vitamin supplementation model.
