It’s not just about sugar
Hot dogs and these other foods more likely to cause diabetes

Matt Cook here, and diabetes is a huge and growing health concern worldwide.
And unfortunately, Big Food is pushing people into diabetes more and more often.
Big Food manufactures ultra processed foods that are highly addictive in nature.
These so-called foods are engineered to make us crave them and eat more and more of them… and eat them more often.
And there’s a huge health problem with this…
Ultra processed foods are linked to a whole host of negative health outcomes, including diabetes.

In a large study with over 100,000 participants that was published in JAMA internal medicine…
Researchers found a strong correlation between consuming ultra processed foods and developing type 2 diabetes.
In this large observational prospective study, a higher proportion of UPF in the diet was associated with a higher risk of T2D. Even though these results need to be confirmed in other populations and settings, they provide evidence to support efforts by public health authorities to recommend limiting UPF consumption.
Foods that are ultra-processed include lunch meat, hot dogs, packaged cookies, and cakes.
These are foods that generally have a lot of added fat.
Some foods are highly processed or ultra-processed. They most likely have many added ingredients such as sugar, salt, fat, and artificial colors or preservatives. Ultra-processed foods are made mostly from substances extracted from foods, such as fats, starches, added sugars, and hydrogenated fats. They may also contain additives like artificial colors and flavors or stabilizers. Examples of these foods are frozen meals, soft drinks, hot dogs and cold cuts, fast food, packaged cookies, cakes, and salty snacks.
And these things are bad for your health.
Especially if you eat a lot of them.
When you eat ultra-processed foods as part of your regular diet, you are likely to set yourself up for weight gain and potentially diabetes.
Both are metabolic issues.
The researchers found that study subjects consumed about 500 more calories per day on the ultra-processed diet versus the unprocessed diet. The ultra-processed diet period was marked by an increased intake of carbohydrate and fat, but not protein. Participants gained on average two pounds during the ultra-processed diet phase, and lost two pounds during the unprocessed diet phase.
In another study published in the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism…
Researchers found that ultra processed foods eaten at night were linked to developing diabetes.
Those who ate a lot of processed meat in the evening were more likely to die from heart disease.
The evidence is clear…
If you eat a lot of ultra processed foods, then you are likely to have metabolic issues with your body.
Short term, you’ll probably gain weight and long term you may end up with diabetes.
The alternative is to eat real foods (but make sure you avoid PUFA fats).
Real foods include fruit, cooked to death vegetables, white potatoes and rice, as well as beef, lean chicken, and lean fish.
Dairy is also a great option for real food.
Don’t be fooled by Big Food’s products that set you up for major health conditions.
You can cook simple food for yourself and be far better off than eating the inflammation inducing highly processed foods.
—-Important Message—-
Avoid keto and low carb diets! Men who eat sugar, burn sugar — and this is FANTASTIC for male health and performance

Remember being a kid and being warm and full of energy all the time?
You’d go outside to play in the cold and Mom would be calling after you, “Don’t forget your jacket!”
But you wouldn’t even feel cold, you’d be burning up out there.
And it’s because as kids, our bodies are always burning SUGAR.
YOUTH is sugar burning. Even scientists agree.
But as we age, our metabolisms get slow and cold, and instead of burning sugar for energy, the body starts burning fat…
And burning fat is BAD.
This is what happens to a man when he burns only fat and not sugar:
Diabetes, low testosterone, erections problems, obesity, more age-related diseases, even cancer…
So a hot, fast, sugar-burning metabolism is the key to remaining young and healthy no matter how old you are.
