Depriving yourself of this could cut your lifespan in half

I help men everyday that have problems “down there.”

Often, it’s problems with rockiness…

But sometimes it has to do with delayed ejaculation or premature ejaculation.

I’ve had lots of success helping men get their ideal function back.

But, early on, when I started this work, I noticed something… odd.

Many (not all) men who had problems down there also had what docs call comorbidity issues.

Comorbid: (of medical conditions) present simultaneously in a patient:

comorbid insomnia and anxiety;

depression comorbid with phobias;

diabetics with comorbid hypertension.

I was talking with lots of men who also had diabetes, high blood pressure, and heart disease.

One of the common things I would hear from guys was “I’m pretty healthy”…

…before they told me the list of meds they were on to control chronic health problems.

They weren’t REALLY fine, they just had symptoms kind of under control.

And THAT is one of the BIGGEST problems with the way medicine has developed.

Since it’s wildly more profitable to develop treatments that suppress symptoms than CURE disease, it’s also what you can expect.

One of the MOST important health interventions you can give yourself is a good night’s sleep.

Sleep will actually treat the underlying problem, rather than just the symptoms.

Often, if you treat the underlying problem you will find that all of your health (including your sexual health) is better.

Sleep Deprivation Cut Fruit Flies Life Spans in Half

There is a TON of data on sleep and how important regular, quality sleep is for our health.

In this study, fruit flies who were sleep deprived ended up having their life spans cut in HALF.

After 10 days of temperature-induced sleep deprivation, mortality spiked among the fruit flies and all died by around day 20. Control flies that had normal sleep lived up to approximately 40 days in the same environmental conditions.

While extreme sleep deprivation CAN kill humans, it’s unlikely that getting a few nights of short sleep will cut your lifespan in half.

But regular sleep interruption can cause massive health issues that ultimately could shorten your lifespan.

A Lack of Sleep Screws up Your Gut

The same fruit fly study shed some light on WHY sleep interruption and deprivation can be so problematic.

It causes serious disruptions in the gut.

“We found that sleep-deprived flies were dying at the same pace, every time, and when we looked at markers of cell damage and death, the one tissue that really stood out was the gut,” Vaccaro said. “I remember when we did the first experiment, you could immediately tell under the microscope that there was a striking difference. That almost never happens in lab research.”

And just so you don’t think that this ONLY happens in fruit flies (like the above study)…

…the pattern of lack of sleep causing gut problems has been duplicated in mice as well.

The team also examined whether ROS accumulation occurs in other species by using gentle, continuous mechanical stimulation to keep mice awake for up to five days. Compared to control animals, sleep-deprived mice had elevated ROS levels in the small and large intestines but not in other organs, a finding consistent with the observations in flies.

The gut controls huge amounts of human health and is the center of the immune system.

If you disrupt it, then your health can go downhill FAST.

A Lack of Sleep Makes You Eat More

Another HUGE problem with not getting enough sleep is that it screws up your metabolism.

It can make you much more hungry and make you eat more.

Insufficient sleep is known to interfere with the body’s hunger signaling pathways, so the team also measured fruit fly food intake to analyze whether there were potential associations between feeding and death. They found that some sleep-deprived flies ate more throughout the day compared with non-deprived controls.

This study is in fruit flies, but this effect is also well documented in humans.

If you want to take charge of your OWN health, rather than just relying on daily Big Pharma treatments to mask your symptoms…

Then you need to pay attention to two areas.

One is sleep, and the other is your gut.
