The biggest lie about cholesterol — exposed

The lipid hypothesis is the idea that elevated blood cholesterol causes cardiovascular disease.

It has been around in some form since 1850…

…but it has been the center of cardiovascular disease prevention in the United States and most of the rest of the world since the 1950s.

Almost everyone has had a blood test for cholesterol.

It’s amazing how many different problems you can bring to a doctor’s office that result in a request for a blood cholesterol test.

But it’s a completely bogus theory – and the drugs we use to force down blood cholesterol?

They don’t do anything to reduce cardiovascular disease.

They do pose a large and severe risk of serious side effects though.

One study carried out in Italy shows us the futility of testing in treating blood cholesterol levels to predict cardiovascular disease.

The research also outlines the benefits of dealing with more relevant factors in the prevention of cardiovascular disease.

The human research was carried out at University G. D’Annunzio in Chieti, Italy. This paper was published in The Journal of The American Geriatrics Society.

The researchers were interested in how nutrients might affect future heart attack, stroke and heart failure risk factors.

“We assessed whether systemic oxidative stress can predict the risk of first myocardial infarction, ischemic stroke, and congestive heart failure.”

The researchers carried out a four year long study which involved tracking outcomes in over 100 people over the age of 80.

“102 apparently healthy, community-dwelling subjects aged 80 and older from the Vibrata valley, Teramo, Italy were studied.”

The researchers were particularly interested in a group of nutrients known as antioxidants.

Common antioxidants include vitamin C and vitamin E.

They tested the levels of these nutrients in the blood at the outset.

They also tested fluorescent products of lipid peroxidation.

Simply put — these are breakdown products of unstable dietary fats

…which interact with other elements in the body causing inflammation and disease.

You can reduce your exposure to these problematic elements by decreasing your consumption of polyunsaturated fats which largely come from vegetable oils.

Vitamin E also helps to reduce the breakdown of these unstable fats and so reduce the levels of products of lipid peroxidation.

“Plasma vitamin E, beta-carotene, vitamin C, fluorescent products of lipid peroxidation, and serum lipids were determined at enrolment.”

As these were older people, there were a significant number of cardiovascular events during the multi-year follow-up.

“Thirty-two cardiovascular events were recorded in 4 years of follow-up.”

The participants with the lowest levels of vitamin E were 6x more likely to have a cardiovascular event compared to those with the highest levels.

You won’t find that kind of differential in a drug study – even one where they fudge the numbers!

“The subjects with vitamin E levels in the highest quartile had a risk of cardiovascular events one-sixth those with vitamin E levels in the lowest quartile.”

The researchers found a similar risk in relation to products of lipid peroxidation.

These products are made from unstable fats  – and the production of these harmful products of lipid peroxidation is limited by vitamin E.

So then it was no surprise to see that people with the highest levels of lipid peroxidation products had a seven times greater risk of cardiovascular events!

“Subjects with products of lipid peroxidation in the highest quartile had a risk seven times greater than those with products of lipid peroxidation in the lowest quartile.”

The takeaway here is to avoid vegetable oils and perhaps take a high quality vitamin E supplement.

The researchers found no relationship with the other two antioxidants they tested…

…further supporting the idea that this effect is related to preventing lipid peroxidation specifically rather than antioxidant activity in general.

“No association was observed for vitamin C or beta-carotene.”

And what of cholesterol?

The researchers found no relationship between total cholesterol and cardiovascular risk.

“No association was observed for total cholesterol.”

And no matter what other cardiovascular risk factors they included in their analysis…

…they were unable to devise a method that would show a link between cholesterol and cardiovascular events.

You may be surprised by this research – but I’m not – I’ve outlined many, many different studies underlying the same basic findings in a number of my newsletters.

“We confirm previous data showing that total cholesterol is not a predictor of cardiovascular disease in people aged 80 and older.”

You should always consult your healthcare practitioner for guidance on medical diagnosis and treatment.

Optimize your cholesterol to help boost testosterone — totally natural

Statins for high cholesterol are one of the worst Big Pharma treatments men can possibly take.

And I don’t say that lightly. I mean it.

Statins cause terrible erections problems in men:

Statins stop the body from naturally converting cholesterol into testosterone in the Leydig cells of a man’s testicles.

So I figured out how to use C2T instead, a natural protocol for men.

How does C2T work?

C2T takes any extra cholesterol that your body currently has, and converts it into testosterone.

So you have HIGHER testosterone, and cholesterol evens out to ideal levels for YOUR body.

Because we are all different, and it is NOT proven that lowering cholesterol actually increases health or lifespan.

This is a natural way of regulating your own cholesterol, and it also boosts T.

And maybe this will allow you to get off the dangerous statins, with your doctor’s blessing of course.

Discover the C2T method and how to use it from the comfort of your own home, anytime
