This exciting supplement suppresses the big C

In the last decade, we have seen a lot of exciting research using a combination of N-acetylcysteine (NAC) and glycine to slow aging and fight chronic, age-related diseases.

There are also interesting effects of these supplements on their own.

Both supplements have anti-cancer effects.

Some of these effects were shown in experiments on prostate cancer cells in Korea.

The call experiments were performed at Soonchunhyang University, Cheonan, Republic of Korea. This paper was published in Toxicology in vitro.

N-acetylcysteine (NAC) is an antioxidant – it helps to boost levels of our most potent natural antioxidant – glutathione.

You can help to “scavenge free radicals” – mop up free electrons that otherwise damage DNA and cell membranes.

These free radicals are one of the things that can drive cancer, and researchers believe this is why NAC can have anti-cancer effects.

“N-Acetylcysteine (NAC) has been heralded as a chemopreventive agent, generally because of its ability to scavenge free radicals.”

NAC decreases the uncontrolled and excessive growth of cells – the hallmark of cancer, known as proliferation.

“It also suppresses the proliferation of many cancer cells.”

These scientists are interested in the mechanisms of the antiproliferative effect of N-acetylcysteine.

“However, the antiproliferative mechanism(s) remain to be fully elucidated.”

Their experiments were carried out in human prostate cancer cells (PC-3) that do not respond to androgen reduction.

“In this study, we investigated a growth-suppressive mechanism of NAC action in androgen-independent prostate carcinoma PC-3 cells.”

The research showed that NAC slowed the proliferation of prostate cancer cells – this effect increased with dose and time.

“NAC inhibited the proliferation of PC-3 cells in a dose- and time-dependent manner.”

The researchers found some of the pathways by which NAC affects cancer.

“Moreover, NAC treatment suppressed the activation of NF-κB induced by IKK-β as detected by the NF-κB reporter gene assay.”

Activation of the IKK/NF-kB signaling pathway leads to gene changes that can interfere with apoptosis, cell cycle regulation, cell invasion, and metastatic growth.

Apoptosis is a form of programmed cell death.

Cell cycle regulation refers to the control of cell growth and division.

Cell invasion refers to the ability of cancer cells to invade surrounding tissues and spread to other parts of the body.

Metastatic growth refers to the spread of cancer cells from the primary tumor to other parts of the body, producing new tumors.

In other words, NAC tunes the genes to be less cancerous.

“NAC treatment caused an early but transient activation of Akt and Erk1/2.”

ERK1/2 and Akt are proteins that are upregulated and activated in cancer tissues.

The researchers confirmed the anti-cancer affected NAC on human prostate cancer cells.

They also identified numerous pathways by which the anti-cancer effects of NAC might occur.

“Our data suggest that the antiproliferative effect of NAC is partially mediated by intracellular ROS production, the inhibition of NF-κB activity, and the activation of PI3K- and/or MEK/Erk-related intracellular signaling pathway.”

NAC is becoming an increasingly popular supplement for many reasons.

I am particularly interested in the antiaging effect of NAC combined with glycine – something I’ve written a newsletter on.

The combination of the two substances serves to increase our natural antioxidant – glutathione.

And many studies in various life forms show increased longevity with the combination of these two supplements.

These two supplements also reduce the burden of most chronic diseases.

We also see some benefits from supplementing either of these two substances alone.

And there seem to be numerous beneficial mechanisms related to these supplements alone or in combination.

You should always consult your healthcare practitioner for medical diagnosis and treatment guidance.

Secret molecule making these men live and perform “like teenagers again”

Imagine being able to rewind your internal clock…so instead of feeling like your age, you feel decades younger…

I’m talking about waking up full of energy, with a huge tent in the sheets from your massive morning wood…

Eating a slice of pizza, drinking a beer… and never feeling guilty about it or worrying about it turning into belly fat.

And when you take a woman to bed, you are hungry for her…

You are rigid and ready, and you have the stamina to go for an hour or more…

Now any man can live this way again, no matter his age.

This secret molecule I’ve discovered can make men live and perform “like teenagers again” only better…
